These kits are the "All Grain" versions of the extract recipe kits. They will require some intermediate to advanced brewing techniques, such as mashing and equipment, such as a mash tun. Or, you could brew these recipes with the Brew-in-a-Bag method. Just make sure your brew kettle is of sufficient size, roughly 8 gallons. All of the grains for these kits are crushed to order. Don't forget your yeast.
